Well not much is going on in the great city of West Valley. Just working and more work and more work. Then some laughing at Sesha.
We are still enjoying the Olympics. Sesha has started liking them more and she lets me watch them instead of watching Sponge Bob. YEAH!
I hope that all is going well for everyone lately. Our family is doing good. The kids are getting ready to head back to school. Shelby seems excited, Jake not so much. I am not sure about Keirstin. I am excited for school to start because that means that it will be cooling off soon.
Soooo. did you all hear about the really cheap gas in Salt Lake today? There was a 7-11 that dropped their prices and it dropped to $3.68 a gallon. Everywhere else has it between $3.93 and $4.01. Everyone was so excited about this "cheap" gas that they were backed up. About 2 hours later they shut the pumps off and hung up a sign stating that it was an error and they fixed the price and it was back to $3.99 a gallon.
Things might be looking up though, it is below $4.00 a gallon at most gas stations around my house.
Shane, Sesha and I went to Golden Correl for dinner tonight. Sesha had fun, the first time through the food line she got a tortilla shell with cheese (this was in a bowl) and mashed potatoes with no gravy and a roll on a plate. She put ketchup on her cheese and put her mashed potatoes on her roll like butter. It was cute. Then she ate some mac & cheese. Her favorite. Shane asked her if she wanted some ice cream. of course she said yes. So they were putting vanilla ice cream in a bowl and Shane asked her if she wanted the mixed one (orange and vanilla twist) and she said yeah. So he started putting it in the bowl and she said in her ever so quiet 3 year old voice "that is different, it is two not one"! Everyone in the place heard her and turned and looked. I thought that Shane was going to crawl under the ice cream machine. She was so excited and she had never seen that before. Then after we got done eating and we were walking out to the car Sesha informed us she was freezing and needed her blanket. I was sweating and she was cold. I am wondering if she knows what she is talking about. But she is nuts. Her fleece blanket has to be with her even when it is 100 degrees outside she wants to be wrapped up in it when we are in our non air conditioned car.
well this post is getting long and I am getting tired. I will post more later.
